We spent a few days after our ceremony in Hilton Head, SC at the Weston Resort. Which was absolutely perfect for us. We had the most wonderful time getting away from the craziness of wedding planning, "home" life before starting out new life as a family and getting ready for baby H to arrive. We made things pretty simple for us by sleeping in late, heading to the beach, plus eating at ever sea food place in town. ha! We did love Hilton Head and I am sure that we will be heading back there in the next years with our family but this time I am sure that Curtis will have golfing on his mind rather than his new bride! Here are some of our photos from the trip!
This is me walking up a lighthouse and the look that a preggo lady gives her Hubby for having her to do this in such a humid climate. ha! But I will admit, I am chubby and lazy so I gave him a hard time.
This is a photo from the Old Oyster Factory that we ate at on our second night. The reviews were amazing but we thought otherwise. We left there and hit up a McDonalds on the way back to the resort.
Curtis was trying to get me to eat an oyster...there was no way though.By the way, my flat iron broke the first morning we were there and we could not find one anywhere. I was an awful mess.
Curtis had to fulfill some of his golfing obsession while there.
(Borrringgg is all this girl thinks of golf.)

On our last day we decided to go to Savannah, Ga and eat at Lady & Sons. We had to get there at 8:30 if we wanted a lunch reservation. I honestly got to hot (yes that early in the morning) and was sick by the time we ate at 11:30. But the food was not worth it. I was very disappointed!Us waiting in line to put to get our time.
We ended up getting a snack for breakfast at this cute little cafe. Which was delish and only a block from Lady & Sons - so go there instead!!
Our server took this picture for us right before the strap on my Motherhood sundress completely broke. Yes. I am just sitting there and it broke! (I should of read the reviews.)
I was so embarrassed but we still enjoyed the rest of our day with a carriage ride through Savannah.
and before we left..

I must admit that I am ready to hit the beach again this Summer, to bad that CB starts school whenever our family is heading to Florida!
