Kindergarten

CB has only a couple of days before heading back to school for her actual "first year." Last year she attended an elementary school for their preschool program and honestly had the time of her little life. We adored her teacher (Well we still do) and wished that she could have kept Charli Beth for years to come. Although, this year we are in a new county and not only will be getting a new teacher, new friends but Charli will be getting used to an entire new school.

I think my anxiety over this is probably a little more than Charli Beth's will be because she loves meeting new friends and having new places to learn at. Not to mention, she asked her Nana if she could start school late this year so that she could be announced as "the new kid" in front of the entire class.

Here are some of the things that I am wanting to get CB to help her transition be a little easier...or maybe a little cute:

She does have a shirt for her first day but it will be shown on her first day =)

EtsyThis may be a little boyish but my girl loves horses!!

How fun! She will have a blast in K! And, being a teacher, you should totally take one of those cute gifts on the first day of school. Her teacher will appreciate it! :)

I love the "how I get home" buttons! What a smart mama, trying to help :)

That's so sweet of you to already be thinking of the teacher also!!!

HI! I love the car rider/ bus rider pins!!! So cute. I got on Etsy and tried to find them but I was unsuccessful. Could you post the Etsy person who sells them please? Thanks so much.

It took me a little while to get into it too... it's just like an online inspiration board. Sometimes I get in a craze and search things... rainbows... aqua and red... felt flowers. I'm a teacher and I love the flowers with the magnetic letters in them! And that last thing you posted with the clipboard, I printed out ten copies to put on clipboards for my students!!! LOL

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
