Kids Say the Darnest Things

If you know my family in real life the one thing that probably stands out to you about Charli Beth is how silly and how much of a little spit fire the girl is. Sometimes though, she says the funniest things that just catch us all off guard and make us laugh until we cry - Which is one of my most favorite things about having children.

-Bryar was making baby sounds in the floor the other day and Charli jumps up and says "Bryar buddy you can speak Indian!! Good job Buddy!!" I almost died. Since they have learned about Indians at school during Thanksgiving, I suppose she knows how to speak the language as well.

-This weekend my Mom surprised CB and took her to the movies to see Beauty & The Beast 3D, while they were waiting for the movie to start they went over to Dollar Tree to waste time. As they walked in Charli got excited and said, "I wonder if they have MLK day decorations, since it's a holiday ya know?" Once again, she knows Martin Luther King Jr Day is a Holiday so she must know that they have gifts and decor for it as well!

-The same day she asked her Pa if they could go to the Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and he said he was not sure what their plans were for the day. So she whispered in his ear "I just thought that we could go celebrate for Martin Luther King day." ...anything to get to go to Chuck E. Cheese, right? Devilish place

There are so many more things that this girl says but half of them are just to funny (or embarrassing, ha!) for my blog! But lets just say having a 5 year old girl with a brand new baby brother that has different "plumbing" than her includes lots and lots of funny comments that makes her Mommy turn red in the face !!!

Oh she is so funny! I love her MLK comments...too cute. Kids definitely say the darnest things and I hear them all day long with a classroom full of 19 5-6 year olds:)

Hahaha oh my goodness we are JUST getting a sneak peek with 3 yr old isms so I can only imagine the things Ryder will say. Once Ryder asked if Brynley got chocolate milk from my "boonies" as he calls them! Haha

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
