I failed to post photos of B's nursery after we had it completed, although I am not sure that I will ever actually feel finished with my little guys room!
The style of him room to me is kind of "modern cowboy." The colors are light blue, navy, grey and yellow. Which I LOVE, like a lot!
We also had to use a budget with his room and thankfully we did not have to spend to much!
Bedding - $61.98 link posted with photo
Changing table - $50 Craigslist and my MIL painted it black with left over paint she had.
Glider - left over from CB as a baby
Barrel - baby shower gift
Shelf - Target with gift card
Photos - A&B Designs
Please do not mind my shoes in the photo! Some of these photos I also took a whole back ago while exploring with Instagram, so the editing is different in each! Hope you enjoy :)

Let me "dump" it to you this way....
Our week....
This past week was one of the hardest that I have experienced as a Mommy of two this far. With the stomach bug taking over our home and Bryar, Curtis and I all catching it the same day My Mommy load was in full force and boy did I feel terrible. Thankfully it only last several hours for me as well as Cb.
Bryar had his first swing at the park ride after one of Charli's ball games. He loved it but most of all he loved watching the other kids run around.
I had to stay home with the kids one day because the sitters family had the bug as well. So for snack time we enjoyed playing on a blanket in the yard with sandwiches.
Father's day was a success in our hole thanks to the help of my sister in law who picked up an extra gift for Cb to give Curtis, along with the candy bouquet that I made him. We spent time at home with the kids, skipping church since they had both been sick.
CB and I also made our first banana bread this week! She said, "it is not just fine Momma, it is fabulous.."
So I assume that means it was a success!
Hopefully this next week will be a lot less busy and less stressful for us all. But either way I am sure there will be tons of memories made!

Softball Season
Our season of being a firecracker has sadly ended. It seems that as summer has just begun and we are already finished with one of our favorite activities of the season.
CB made huge progress this year while playing ball. She was blessed with a coach that cared about the team an teaching the younger girl the food fundamentals that lasts a lifetime. But majority of the team along with Coach White will be moving up in age divisions next season.
Their favorite cheer for the girls up to bat was "Charli's up to bat, Charli's up to bat. If I were you an you were me, I'd scoot my booty back...way back"
So cute and fun! These girls really enjoyed playing and getting to know one another. We cannot wait for our celebration at the pool!

Poor babies
It cannot get anymore simple, than just saying that,
"Tummy bugs are the devil."
But thankfully, they are both on the mend now. Being sick is no fun, especially in the summer!

Happy Daddy's Day!
I have always said that when celebrating Father's Day that I like to call it Daddy's Day. This would simply be because any man can be a Father but it takes a special soul to show and give a Daddy's love.
My daughter and I are blessed to have the bond of unconditional love instead of through blood as many others. We have a special and unique relationship with the men, Heroes that have came into our lives to show us unconditional love to us along with our Mother's. Which is a love that every child should experience.
I remember the first time that Charli called Curtis Daddy. Which was as soon as we walked into our reception. She ran with the biggest smile on her face and screamed Daddy as she jumped into his arms. My heart felt complete at that very moment. Even though she had waited to use the phrase "Daddy" you could always see it in her heart that she was overjoyed because you had shown her a Father's love from the beginning.
Words cannot thank you enough for the love that you have shown to Charli and Bryar. To see your eyes feel of love and joy when Bryar was born was the most incredible feeling ever. As I have told you on many occasions you are exactly what I prayed for in a man for so many years. I thank you for being the Hero of a Daddy. Today is for you and I hope we are able to make it the happiest day!

"Blacky" The Calf
Charli is now the new proud "Mama" of Blacky the calf. She was born along with her twin brother and sadly her Mother is only taking to the boy. After searching for nearly two days with the help of her Daddy, Papaw and Meemee they found Blacky and were able to bring her in.
Charli is being such a huge help and is bottle feeding her twice a day along with help from Meemee. There are actually two others in the same barn but they are a little more skiddish of CB already. But no worries she did name them Silly and Calfie. Charli is such a great care taker of these calves and is giving them all of the love and attention that they need. I guess the little miss was not lying when she said she wanted to be a cowgirl!

1 year ago - God Gave Me You.
One year ago today, my Daddy took my arm and lead me down the aisle to the man that I had dreamed and prayed of for years. The song that played was David Barnes "God Gave Me You" and still today I get chills listening to the song with tears filling my eyes. My heart fills with joy knowing that my prayers were answered and that the Lord blessed me with a spouse as well as a best friend.
They say that the first year is the hardest but I mostly agree with my Mother in Law in saying that every year will be hard because you will always find something new. But I promise that no matter what I will always stand by his side and love him unconditionally just like I promised to do in our vows.
I cannot wait to see where our lives take us over the next 70 years.
I love you so very much! :)

Insta Photo Dump Friday
This has been another long week of work, softball, celebrating Curtis 28th birthday and just trying to take a moment every now and then to breathe.
I am doing photo a day for June on instagram, so my photos for this week are a little random.
Hopefully this weekend I will be able to sit down and actually blog! But we have a weekend full of ball games and some super fun cleaning to do :)

8 months
Dear Baby Bryar,
Here we are again at this same time of each month where I just want to cry because another month has passed us by. You have really grown up in the last month! Way more than poor Mommy is ready for.
On Mother's Day, you took a nap after your dedication and when I picked you up in the nursery you were sitting up like a big boy! I almost fell over and explained to the ladies that you had never done that before!
You are now already trying to pull up although you still hate your belly. But somehow I am sure you will figure crawling out.
You still hate baby food except for avocados, bananas and green beans on occasion. When you do eat you will only take a few bites. Although you do love mashed potatoes and refried beans. I guess you just want the real stuff!
We are still breast feeding as much as possible as well a supplementing with neosure. You are still only take about 6 ounces at a time.
You just moved on up to 9 month clothing and depending on the style of diapers you are in a 2 or 3. We typically use pampers swaddled but will soon use huggies when your rump gets a little chunkier!
Everyone the meets of knows you always say that you have the "sweetest disposition" about you or have the best personality. They are all so very right! Being your Mommy and seeing your big grin with one little simple is such a blessing. You are not talking yet but you love to "scream" with excitement at us! I just love you to pieces! :)
Hope this next month goes by super slow so I can cherish our moments even more! Happy 8 months baby B!
