Happy Birthday, Aylee!

Today is my little cousin Aylee's 14th bday..so first off Happy Bday Aylee! I tried and tried to get a picture of her blowing out her candles, but Miss Priss doesn't even like for people to say Happy Birthday to her let alone get pictures of her. Although I did finally get one of her and I together, but I shall not post it, due to my chubby cheeks and Bass Pro camo hat =) haha! What I'd give to be 14 again? I guess seeing Aylee grow up so quickly had me thinking about this today. There is so many things that I would keep the same in my life, and so many things that I would love to just take away. If there is one thing that I could say to Aylee for advice on how to spend her teen years, is to never ever do anything that whenever you are just a few years older or even days older you will regret. I can honestly say that there are many things that I done while in school that I would just love to strip away from my past. This isn't just for school either, but as for home life also. For instances, how I seemed to always be in fights {yep, yours truly was a fighter} and the way my Mom and I would fight at home. Times in schools are a lot different now then they even were 4 years ago since I graduated. I also hope that she keeps God in her heart.

I got a fourtune cookie the other night and it said "The best way to navigate through life is to give up all of our controls." It was so strange that is said this, due to the fact I had been thinking about people letting their lives get totally out of control and then they say they dont know where to turn to for help. God is the key to it all. {Dont worry people, I'm preaching to myself here also} I sometimes let myself get so overwhelmed with problems and think that I have no one to talk to, but I do..I have friend that is always listening and always will. I hope you remember this Aylee, {that is if you ever find you way to this page} I love you like my own little and pray that your teen years are as fun as happy as you wish them to be!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
