1st haircut!!!!

I have been putting off getting Charli's hair cut/trimmed for months now, even though I wanted to do it so badly. I was so scared of cutting her curls and afraid that they would not come back, after seeing that her "baby" hairs that are coming in curl too I decided it was time.

We had ballet to attend before our appointment so I tried my best to get Char excited for her first salon trip by telling her that this really means that she isn't a "little" girl anymore no matter what anyone says. She quickly informed me that "she was NOT going to cut her hair because she didn't want it to look like mine"?? oh brother...
Thankfully she acted very excited about getting into the chair and having her hair done! She did so wonderful and I love the way her hair looks now even though there isn't much of a difference!

Awe! It looks sooo cute. I am afraid to get Autumn's haircut. I probably won't for a really long time! Charli's really turned out super cute though. Her dress is also really adorable.

she is just such a pretty little lady... I love these baby moments that I have now but I really can't wait for her to be a "big girl" too!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
