While you're still young...

I can finally say that for once I have been so very busy that I have not had time to blog!

This beautiful lady got married last Saturday!
It was such a very sweet wedding!

Look at how pretty her cake was!
Adorable.
The top layer was Strawberry daiquiri and the bottom was Funfetti!
Yum!

I was actually a bridesmaid but have zero pictures.

After the wedding was over my Mother and I got busy working on items for a yard sale on Saturday. I love having yard sales and love going to them also. There is just so much happiness in getting rid of a ton of things that you do not need anymore, and other people getting the things that they do need!
We sell all of Charli's clothes at our yard sale instead of messing with Ebay but I think that I am going to start trying again with Ebay on the smocked dresses. We are asking $15 at the sale for them because well lets be frank...they aren't cheap! Some people jump right on them and then some look at us like we're crazy.

We have had a ton of people to ask if they can shop early at our sale but with my work schedule it's just not possible. Is that rude? Or is it rude to let people shop early when there is a lot of people asking?

BIG NEWS....
no I'm not preggers ;o)

I applied to be a WKU student again today =)

How exciting right?!

I have been wanting to do this for a while and after some serious talks with my boyfriend I made the decision that this is the time to do it! It has been very stressful and I have made a million phones calls to them but finally my application is submitted and they said it would be ready in a few days.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders but really....
my stress is going to be at an all time high in a few weeks.

I was sitting at work starting to doubt myself and then I heard this song:

There are going to be a LOT of changes in my life in the next few months and I am more than ready for them! Hopefully everything will go right and I will be a WKU student this fall!

I am so glad that you signed back up for school! If you're going to be taking classes at the main campus we should have lunch someday!

Congrats on going back to school! I quit after having Kooper(#2)and intend to go back someday. The problem is, now that I'm "all grown up" I have NO IDEA if I still want to teach! I'm literally a year away from being finished...ahhh, decisions, decisions! Good for you for making the plung!:)

SO WISH KM could wear Charlie's dresses. I would definately pay $15. The people that look at you like your crazy must have never payed full price for one! haha!

Good luck with your yard sale & if you have any of Char's dress leftover I would be MORE than happy to take them off your hands for $15!!! Those people who look at you crazy for that price are crazy themselves! Haha! Seriously email me-jessriley03@yahoo.com.

Good Luck with school. I commend moms who go back to school...there's no way I could do it!

That cake is too cute & the flavors sound amazing!

$15 is cheap for smocked dresses...I don't even have kids & know that! I'm sure they sell fast! They're so cute!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
