Yard Sale = Cash Money BABY

All I can say about our yard sale is: WOW!

We made lots of money and if you follow me on twitter I have already revealed how much we made but will not flaunt it anymore because I will probably curse myself and it never happens again! Whenever I first left work Saturday morning it had already sprinkled a bit and the skies looked pretty clear for the most part. I truly thought we were in the clear. Although, around 7 am while our yard was full of cars and people with arms full of Charli's smocked dresses, it started pouring. I made Charli scoot under her lemonade stand while I "checked" people out. I thought every one would make a dash for their cars but they didn't! I was soaked, but whatever as long as that money kept flowing in!

CB did fabulous with her lemonade stand too. Lets just hope this doesn't encourage her to grow up and want to sale lemonade at a circus or a fair. Yikes!
I promise we do brush her hair.
Pancake time!

After pancakes, syrup and 5 million glasses of lemonade Charli Beth was running around like a little chicken with her head cut off. I have never seen her so crazy! It was hilarious.

My Mother and I love the money but thank goodness it will be next summer before we even think of another yard sale!

I am glad you did so well. We had one earlier this summer but did not do so well. Charli Beth looks adorable sitting at her lemonade stand.

That's a cute idea to have a Lemonade stand at the yard sale. I'm sure people were hot & appreciated the drink...and I bet it kept her entertained!

Way to go! I love her entrepreneur spirit!

By the way, thanks for the sweet comment you left. No, no one has ever told me I look like that girl and I didn't know who you were talking about. I looked her up and even though I think she's prettier than me, I take that as a real compliment and you're my new bff!!

What a cutie she is, I love her lemonade stand! I cracked up at your comment, promising that you all do brush her hair - my girl has lots of natural curls and her hair gets crazy within 5 minutes of us brushing it. I'm always paranoid that the daycare teachers turn to one another after we drop her off and ask themselves, "do they own a brush?!".

Congrats on the yard sale!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
