Oh, Charli girl...

Good grief my Charli girl seems to have completely grown up. She will be a second grader within the next week, and it seems like yesterday that we were prepping for preschool. Yesterday afternoon she had 5 inches cut off her hair! She has been asking for it to be to he shoulders for quiet sometime now. But just as I was learning new cute styles for her, we decided to cut it just in time for school.

I am certain that I went into the salon with a 7 year old and let with a 10 year old. She looks SO grown up with her hair straight. But a wash later and her sweet curls are thankfully back. I am not ready to loose the sweetness of her curls.

Today Charli, my Mom and I are heading out to back to school shop. This is the first shopping trip without Bryar. I feel a little silly not knowing what to do with out him or what to do with my hands since I am so used to pushing a stroller. All kinds of ridiculous, isn't it? But he is staying on the farm and I am very certain that he will enjoy his day of cows and tractors. Wish us luck that we will not be over taken by the crowds of back to school shopping! :)

She is ADORABLE in that first photo (well, all of them, but especially that one)! I have loved seeing her grow up the last few years. She's beautiful!

Her hair looks adorable. I can't believe she will be in second grade. For some reason I was thinking she would be going into first.

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
