Clearwater 2010

Caution:
Picture overload!!!!!!

I have seriously taken my time on doing this post because well...I'm lazy to be honest. I also had no idea which pictures to choose from to share with you all and to keep for memories in my blog. This is the first time that going to Florida that I didn't take a million and seven pics.

We left Sunday night after I left work, and arrived Monday around 2. Charli Beth was extremely good both ways - it is a 13 hour drive for us. She was so excited and anxious to get there, I believe it wore her out!

I have so many things to post about so I'm going to cram these pictures and stories all in one!

Charli and I realized after playing golf with Mark's family, that we should probably never play again because we stink only play to let Char steal our balls and win every time!
The back of the home we stayed at.The view from our dock
After breakfast Charli & Mark would feed the fish & birds
The birds kinda scared me, they were a little crazy over the food.
Second day at the beach - Charli had an allergic reaction to her sunscreen so this day she got a little red and my knees were burned?!
On the way to breakfast! Someone told me that we were within a block of everything so I didn't think there was a need for a stroller. HA! That is why he got to pack her most of the time. =)
It was cute though!

Clearwater has the most amazing park next to their "Pier 60"
At night they had craft vendors set up on the sides of the Pier. Totally cute, but some were creepy. Especially the guy that reminded me of Mr. Rogers with his puppets. They also had different shows set up in front of the park.
A fire showShe had to sport her Hannah Montana shirt one day too.
Their friends house where Miss Char fell in love with 3 adorable dogs.
My view from laying out
I was very much in love with their back yard/patio
Charli threw tennis balls over and over to the dogs to see them jump in the pool

It was hilarious to watch
This dog could do this all day, no joke.
She also took her first boat ride at their house
<3>
I didn't realize I was so red until I looked at these pictures. Opps!
For supper we stopped in at the public dock and walked to their restaurant that they run called the "Clearwater Wine Bar & Bistro" We had an amazing time with them.

Charli got a little anxious and started dancing, which then led to this...Which melted my little heart into pieces!Another dog that Charli came across while eating, his name was "Taco"
We also visited the Clearwarter Marine Aquarium
Charli truly is a cowgirl since she can even ride a turtle =)
Photography by Charli Beth!We had to take pictures with every turtle to please C.B. but it was funShe absolutely loved every dolphin that we seen on our trip!
We were very blessed to have been asked to go on this trip with their family. We had an amazing time and were finally able to spend time with one another!

Looks like y'all had a great time! I can't wait for our trip - I'm praying the oil will stay away! On the sunscreen - the 1st that made Ava break out was Coppertone Water Babies. Next I tried Bullfrog (which I LOVE and use myself) but it made her break out too, which made me sad. We're using Coppertone Sensitive Skin. The ingredients in it are Zinc Oxide, Octinoxate, and Octisalate. It goes on a little thick, but she's not burning and she's not reacting to the chemicals. Our pediatrician said to make sure the sunscreen was PABA free, but both of ours were, so it had to be another chemical in it that she was allergic too. We didn't narrow it down, but since we found one that works, we'll just go with it. Hope this helps!!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
