1st Blogger Meet-up

On Friday, Charli Beth & I headed down to Nashville to meet up with one of my favorite bloggers Jessica {Our Happily Ever After} and her two precious kiddos Riley & Averly. I have been following Jessica's blog since Riley was a baby and became such great blogger since!

I think I probably picked the worst place in Nashville to eat at during lunch time. There was so many business men and women there, that it was hard to even move much less having to bug the waiter to get snap a group shot of us! But we were a pain and asked them to do it anyways!
Although, CB was being such a mean little spit fire for the first little while, her and Riley hit it off instantly. {Sorry again for that Jessica. These girls are going to be the death of us with all of their sassiness}

Before long they were holding hands while we were walking downtown and were even asked if they were brother and sister! How precious! Riley just melted my heart with what a sweet boy he was! I'm pretty sure he wanted to come back to Kentucky with CB, which would of been totally fine with us ;)Jessica, was such a sweetie and brought Charli Beth a gift, which was an absolute adorable zebra and valentine m&m's that her & Riley shared. They were super cute trying to pick out which ones where their favorite colors.After lunch we decided to bundle up and go for a little walk downtown. We tried to keep up with these two, but they were hand in hand and on the move! Charli was being such a little bossy pants to Riley making him hold her hand every time we started walking. But thankfully, he didn't seem to mind! =)
We went to visit Jessica's sister at work and the kids picked out hats. Don't they look simply darling?! Not to mention, they were still connected at the hand!After we left the store, we decided it was time to head back towards Kentucky for Charli B to get ready for her big "date" that night. Mr. Riley jumped right in my arms whenever we started to leave! I told you, he wanted to come to Kentucky to become a cowboy! haha!
Aww!!
What is up with my kids hair?
Oh my word.

It was amazing to walk up to someone that you have never met before and feel like you have known them IRL for years. Jessica, is exactly what she seems in her blog. She is the most beautiful and sweetest Momma! Her children were the cutest things, ever. I cannot wait to meet up with them again to play whenever it gets warmer out!

Hopefully, we can meet up with other blogger Mommas one day too!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
