16 weeks!

I seem to forget to post as the weeks come and go lately being that we are coming to the final few days before the wedding! I have been entirely stress free during this short notice of a process thanks to our amazing families and family friends. We have very blessed to have not only creative Mothers but Mothers/families that are just as ecstatic for our big day as we are!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 16-17 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 1lb back from Dr appt - probably more now
Maternity Clothes: Yes

Best Moment this week: Our wedding shower that we had this past Sunday was simply beautiful and amazing! I cannot wait to post photos later on!

Gender: BOY

Movement: Flutters every now & then
Food Craving: Eww.

What I miss: Being able to eat!

Sleep: My sleep is still about the same, changing from night to night.

What I am looking forward to: Getting married
this Saturday 6/11/11 !!!!!

Belly Button: Still gross and fat like a huge donut. Yeah, I know ...nasty, right?

Symptoms: Nausea at times, but it is thankfully getting better!

This is my 16 week picture

Names are still out of the question but maybe I can talk him into one on the honeymoon ;) ha!

I have asked on twitter before if any other Mommy's had dealt with irregular heartbeats while pregnant. I know from what people say and books, that it is common but should be gone by the end of the first trimester. But after thinking for a while and about the irregularities that I expereinced in high school (having to wear two different heart monitors) I decided to just call and ask my nurses opinion. Well, I got more than I bargained for I guess. They never called me back, and I actually forgot until that afternoon and experienced it once again. I did not want to bug anyone because I honestly do not think this is a serious matter at all but they called around one o'clock on Wednesday and said that I have a echo appointment set up with a cardiologist on Thursday morning at 8:30 then will have lab work following that, I will then meet with my Dr on Friday. I told the nurse that I was only calling for advice and that I was really confused since I had not heard from them but she just simply told me that this is what I need to do. Goodness! Seriously? I have wedding stuff to get done and really I still want to reschedule but Curtis asked that I just get it checked out so we he will know for sure. So it looks like I will be even more busy that I had thought! Not to mention, I will be going to my OB tomorrow to see my precious nephew again at my sisters ultrasound! They are going to end up hating me by the end of this pregnancy.

O.M.!!! I hope everything is ok. I'm sure it is. They are just taking all measures and getting baselines for later!

LOL!!! We still haven't came up with names either, and I only have like 11wks or so left!! EEK!! But, it's a little harder when you don't know what the sex is. Marc wont let me name it Bray if it's a girl though, BOO...

I guess we still like Owen Lee for a boy though.

You'll come up with something you still have plenty of time! HUGS!!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
