I am back at work this afternoon after some days of being in bed completely except for a few occasions for eating, picking up Charli Beth from school and getting my weekly progesterone shot. I forgot just how slowly days can pass by while on bed rest, although with the break ups of Charli getting ready for school and then having to pick up the last two days did pass by fairly quickly. Although, I am sure that if I had to go on complete bed rest that my days will get so boring and long.
Thursday, Curtis stayed home from work and took a personal day to paint the nursery as well as to pick up our crib, car seat, rocker and other items out of storage. He finished that night but watching him and CB paint was probably the sweetest thing ever. I had a view from my bed to their room and she was in there in panties and a tank top, paint B's and H's on the wall. haha! I am sure that Curtis enjoyed her help!
I go back to the Doctor on Tuesday for another ultrasound and to see my regular OB. Hopefully nothing has changed and all worries will be settled.
I have been very anxious to get a baby registry going for sometime now, since I was not able to do one in the stores with Charli because of bed rest. But it looks like we're going to be doing it all online again, unless I can talk someone into letting me drive a scooter chair! ;)
What are some of the things that you feel are completely necessary for a baby registry? I do plan on trying to breast feed again, but I loved Avent brand bottles with Charli Beth. What other brands did you admire; graco, fisher price, etc?
Thank you for any advice, I feel new to this again being that CB is so grown up!

Hi there! So sorry to hear you are on bedrest. I am still a fan of Avent bottles although the ones we had used to leak really bad. The newer ones come with a ring that stops the leakage, so that is really helpful. I have not really tried any other brand!
We had a lot of Fisher Price toys in my house when L was little. I think his vibrating chair, swing and jumperoo are all Fisher Price. I would suggest for a swing to get on that can either go back and forth, or front to back(like the normal ones do). My cousin had one for their kids, and they loved it.
Hang in there, girl! I'm praying that you get a good doctor's report this week--I can't imagine being on bedrest (I hope I never have to!)
Glad to know you like the Avent bottles. That's what we registered for---blindly, haha! Being our first baby, we didn't know what we'd prefer OR what the little one might prefer.
My son would only take the Nuk Bottles and paci's. I had bought all Platex stuff and he wouldn't take them. I really like all the Nuk stuff. Good Luck!
I would personally wait on the bottles if you can. My second wouldn't use the bottles I had with my first...so you just never know. My favorite must haves both times around were the swaddle blankets, a sound machine and the pack n play!
Boo on bedrest! :(
