8 weeks!

Bryar Wayne,

You are now 8 weeks old and it seems like yesterday that your Daddy was flying down the road with his caution lights on trying to get us to labor and delivery. You have already endured so much in your little life and have proven to be one strong little fella! You amaze me daily at just how perfect and handsome you are. You are still wearing newborn clothing, and I am assuming you weigh close to 9 pounds now (you were 7.2 almost two weeks ago). You are exculsively nursing until I return to work on Saturday (insert major sad face here) and then you will start taking bottles again until I return home at night. You are still eating every 2-3 hours, except during periods of growth spurts then it seems to be constantly. whenever you are awake you love to look around listening to us talk while taking in all of the beauty of the lights. At night, you love to cuddle next to me which a horrible habbit that I started one night when I was majorly exhausted but to be honest I love cuddling you just as much! Your hair is still coming in blonde but in the light it does have a red cast to it - yes, you look just like your Daddy!

I am so very proud and blessed to be able to call you my son. I cannot wait to see what journeys we are going to go through together but one thing I can promise you is that I will always love you unconditionally and no matter what you will always be my baby. =)
