A Run For My Money

These kids may very well be the death of me this week.

Thankfully Bryar is feeling better and still has not had any issues out of his ears. Although, Miss Charli woke up yesterday morning with pink eye(s)! Yes, both of her eyes were pink, funky, gunky, swollen and just plain icky! We were able to thankfully get the drops in her eyes pretty early in the afternoon but by last night her eyes were almost swollen shut and causing her lots of pain. It was super sad! I am pretty sure that my Mommy heart was broken listening to her moan in her sleep. I had no idea that pink eye hurt that much! Poor girl. She stayed home from school yesterday and today but will be returning to tomorrow morning since she is thankfully feeling better (her eyes not so much though.)

Although the real kicker is that she has school pictures tomorrow!

What in the world.

That will be a great Kindergarten memory!

That is definitely going to be some picture! I can only imagine what the photographer will think when poor CB sits down and smiles big! Bless her heart!

I am glad that Bryar is feeling good again! I think one of the worst things about having more than one child is that as soon as one gets better, something is wrong with the other one.

I hope her eyes have healed by now so she will be able to take her school pictures. :/
I know how it feels to have pink eye and my heart aches for poor little Charli. I can imagine how much pain she's in. Continuing to keep your family in my prayers.

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
