These are the moments, I know Heaven must exist.

Last night was rough, like bang my head upside the crib, cry and yes maybe even yell at my husband or slam some doors rough. Momma is tired, yet baby just does not get it. Last night was completely my fault because I thought I would be the good Mom and have bath time at 6 instead of waiting until closer to bed time like usual.

After said bath, Bryar went down hill quick. While making dinner for the Hubby and I who typically does not arrive home until 7:30, he started rubbing his eyes, holding my legs, just begging for bed. But I couldn't give in to early and I really didn't want to put him down before Bryar had his Daddy time.

But time came and went, and no hubby home. So bed time it was at 8, which is 30 mins or maybe more early. He fell asleep like a rock. Dude was snoring. So I felt all like a winner again and carried on with my highness.

Then one o'clock rolled around and baby Bryar was up. He was wide eyes and ready for anything but sleep. I on the other hand had just fell asleep maybe 30 minutes prior due to stuffiness, aches from being sick. After a bottle, rocking, bouncing, being a human swing and laying with him we were no where. I had to pull myself together, because I swear they are some of the hardest I have faced during Motherhood thus far.

After lots of more rocking and big blue eyes starting to close we headed to sissys open bed. Finally, we were on our highway to sleepy town. When I woke up in the arms of my soon to be one year old, I was in pure bliss and even though the night kicked my butt I would relive it again just to wake up in his little arms.

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
