Well, I am at work, agian on a Friday night. I'd rather be at home cuddled up next to the youngin' or snuggled into my old ragged quilts. But I've had some pretty exciting calls tonight, and some really good laughs at this guy that keeps calling up here. I was told that I was agging *sp?* him on, so I had to stop laughing, oh well...more funny stories to tell the Moms. Why is it in the work place that people have to give out so much money for supervisors and bosses? Okay. Wait. That sounds kind of mean. I dont like the fact that they kind of make it mandatory for you to give them atleast so much money. I just dont think that is right, in all aspects of everyone? Some peoples situations are different than other peoples. I posted that graphic above because I was laughing with a friend the other day, saying it was funny that I pray to know how to pray "good." But is there ever a real perfect prayer? Isn't a prayer just pouring your heart and soul our to the Lord, and thanking him for all of the blessings in your life? Comment if you would like, on this. I just was thinking about it, it's 3:38 in the morning, so my thinking cap gets to turning with nobody in the City...OR County to talk to!
Have a great Saturday!

I swear Paige sometimes I read your blog and it freaks me out how similiar you and I think. I was just saying that same thing today about people in management/bosses. Not that I work anymore, but it really annoyed me when I did. Also I went down and read your other post and couldn't believe you mentioned Bring the Rain...I keep up with that blog regularly and the first night that I found it right after the twins were born I read for three hours until like four in the morning just bawling. I praised the Lord for the things in my life more that night than I had in a long time. After reading how brave and faithful that family has been through their struggles it kind of makes our petty problems not seem as important! Just soooo weird. Of all the millions of blogs out there it cracks me up that we read a lot of the same ones. Maybe it is a mommy thing! :) Anyhow, hope you are having a good weekend. TTYL!

You hit the nail on the head, "Isn't a prayer just pouring your heart and soul out to the Lord, and thanking Him for all of the blessings in your life?" It totally is. I've always just thought of prayer as being simply a conversation between me and God... of course, sometimes it feels more like a one-sided conversation, but a conversation nonetheless. :) He just wants you to express to Him how you're feeling, what you are thinking, what you think you need, what you're thankful for... anything at all! There is no right or wrong or perfect prayer... every prayer, from your heart, is the best prayer. :)

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
