She is a BIG girl

It is official my "baby" is not a baby at all anymore. Where has time gone? I cannot believe that in a year she will be starting school, this year she will start preschool. What? I am not ready. She is ready and cannot wait to go...{I mean she thinks that she is but really she just wants to stay at home with Mommy forever}

Charli Beth's fourth birthday is coming up on April 6th. Yes, I said 4th! Wowzers! She is not taking a sippy cup anymore, hates her pull ups and is moving from her 4-1 crib (set like a daybed right now) into a big girl twin size bed today! I really haven't thought of her being in her crib still until I seen that it was fixing to be taken down to be stored in our basement until my sister or I have another little one.

I am in awe at the fact that all of this is taking place today and I am also not at home to take pictures of this process (huge tears, darn work!) I know that Charli will be so excited once she has her new bed up. We are hoping that changing into this size bed will cut down on how many times Charli falls out of the bed. She is a rollie pollie ollie whenever she sleeps, trust me she slept on my head this morning. I cannot wait to get home tonight and see how it all looks! I will post pictures as soon as we get everything situated!

What a bittersweet day =)

AWE! I can't wait to see pictures of Charli Beth and her new bed! I bet she is too excited herself!

Oh, I am having the WORST time trying to take away Autumn's sippy! She is attached to that thing and it drives me nuts! Charli Beth needs to show her that big girls don't drink from sippy's!

Oh I can agree with you, I am so not ready for Alyssa to start school in August this year. we didn't do the preschool thing and now i wish we would have. I still haven't took the sippy away but ever so often she will drink out of a regular cup and do ok i am just worried about spills i guess. I can't believe that Alyssa is going to be the big 5 in March.she is still small for her age.Time has flown by for me too. Charli Beth is growing up fast too, its all too fast :) Can't wait to see the pics.

I hear they grow so fast and so far its been true. I can only imagine 4 years old but I know it will be here before I know it.
Charli is so sweet. I hope she enjoys preschool.

I left you girls an award on my blog :)

What is it about your baby turning 4 that is so hard? My "baby" turned 4 in August, and I was so sad! In March we have her "kindergarten round up" meeting for next school year! I keep telling her she doesn't have to go to kindergarten, that she can stay home with me!

Hope your little one is enjoying her new big girl bed!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
