Have I ever mentioned how rude some people are whenever you have a yard sale though? Whenever you say that your starting a sale at 7, that would be a nice "hint hint, cough cough, nudge nudge" to not come until 7. Right? haha. People were already out at the house at 6:20 that morning and being severely pushy about some of the larger primitives items that weren't out yet. This was not a good thing for a girl that had worked all night long, and came straight home to work my rear off! Thank goodness for my great parents that assisted her, got her items out and sent her on her way. May the Lord be a blessing to ya lady ;o)
It's amazing how many things we did get rid of though! Which is great and sad at the same time. I cannot wait to have more children, but we all know this will be like 17 years [?] I sold my two strollers, in hopes of purchasing a new one after vacation. I hated to see some of her dresses and outfits go, it amazes me how quickly she has grown into a little/big girl! I'm sure I get obnoxious saying that all of the time!
Speaking of vacation, we are leaving Friday so after this week I probably will be taking a break from the blog world. But I will be gladly catching up with everyone as soon as I get back. I might blog while we are down there. I'm pretty excited about spending time with the family and going deep sea fishing with the Dad.
I am also thinking about having a Giveaway. I will let everyone know by the end of the week what the item[s] and rules are! =) So be sure to keep looking back!

Bravo to you for having a yard sale. Those things are so, so much work. I have so much stuff to get rid of. I question if they are really worth it. I know what you mean about early birds. Ahhh....so annoying!

Glad your garage sale went well. I am always amazed at the person that will ask me if I will come down on a $.25 item. Seriously!!
Your sale was GREAT! But I know what ya mean about being pushy! UUGGH! Some people act like it is a stampede instead of a sale! I got so sick of people asking if I would take any less for things. I mean come on people it is fifty cents, how much lower can I go! LOL! I was so happy to get Charli's Jeep Stroller and all those cute outfits! I put on that Petit Ami dress for Claire to wear to church on Sunday and it fit great! I think she might get to wear it this summer and maybe next too if she doesn't get too tall. She got ahold of some goldfish and had orange all over the smocking before we got out the door. I liked to have died, but I changed her and put some oxiclean on it and it all came out. Thank goodness!!!

I wandered over here from Kace's blog, and I had to tell you I LOVE your daughter's name! Also, I love to GO to yardsales, but HATE to hold them. BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SOOO RUDE. And it pains me to have my wonderful things go to such ugly homes haha. Have a wonderful vacation!
I loev yard sales too!! We had one on saturday but there was not getting rid of Brody's stuff...lol I know he is younger than charli but I can't bear t get rid of anything plus I may have another little boy!! But yes people can be rude.... we had some that showed up early too but what can ya do??

Yay! Glad your yard sale went well! I ended up selling all of Hunters clothes last weekend. :( I hated that I did, hopeing I don't regret it! :)

sounds like you had a good yard sale! i love making extra money & getting stuff out of the way but i bet it was hard to sell charli's stuff :( hope your vacation is wonderful! i can't wait to see pictures!
