Meals = Quality time

In our house if we are even able to get in a good lunch time, we are doing good. Most of the time, Charli Beth has to eat a quick lunch and then it's off to get a super girl quick bath, so I am able to be at work by two. We both love to sit down and eat with one another no matter what time of day it is. It is one of the only times that we can spend good quality time together. I miss those moments while I'm stuck here in this uncomfortable chair at work while tornado warnings are going off, drug burst are occurring and people are having wrecks.

One Day, in the future I will have a career to where I can have a sit down meal with my girl and not have to worry about missing something important in her life. Heck or high water..it will happen sometime and the thought of that happening makes me .... =)

That is so sweet that Charli's baby doll eats when ya'll do. It seems very rare that we sit down and eat together at my house too.

(I love the apron!)

I love that Charli's doll is hanging out at the table with you guys. Your such a good mamma. I know what you mean. Some of my best memories growing up were eating dinner with my family and the things we talked about when we ate.
I hope your able to do that more often.

I love meals! :) Well, maybe I extra love meals cause I'm pregnant. Haha.

But there's something special about sitting around the table with family, sharing and enjoying a meal, and spending quality time together :)

I did that shift for 12 plus years. Make the most of what you can now, there will be time don't worry!

You're doing a good thing at both places. I run the dispatch center for my community, the shifts can suck!

I really enjoy your blog ~ following!

Story of Mommy

My photo
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar. This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out. I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
