Kelly is having another adorable give away over at her blog that all of you Mommas need to check out if you have not already! This product is from Jenifer over at Little House Tees, and let me tell ya they are cute!!
If you like her shop {which I know you will!} head over to Kelly's blog and you can enter the give away! Look on the right hand side of her blog for her give aways! She is also have a "look of love" theme picture contest that ends today, so get your pictures in for that! The prize for that contest is a surprise package!
Remember the picture from last year of Charli and her corn dog? Lol, it was even better this year.
hahahaha! How great is that expression?
The lighting in the picture is awful, because we had to take the corn dog back to the motel for her to eat. It was freezing and rainy the entire weekend we were there (Oh and it snowed on the mountain which was beautiful I must add)
This picture was taken at New Found Gap.I love how the two seasons seem to blend together in this pic.
I have to admit that I am very jealous of you ladies that live close to any beautiful mountains! Because of the weather, we did not do anything to exciting except "bear hunting" as Charli Beth would call it and no we didn't see a thing (except in a cage). She did have a blast playing in the snow on the mountain, hopefully she'll be able to play in some here at home this year too. She was also able to play at a kiddie amusement park in Pigeon Forge the morning that we left since the sun finally came out! She had a blast there, and cannot wait until next year whenever she is able to ride go karts and bumper cars! As fast as time is flying by I'm sure it won't be long until we are having to trot our rear ends down to Dollywood for her to play there too! I have a lot of a tiredsome fun years ahead of me!
p.s. Thank you for all of your comments on my last post. I am very blessed.
I had no idea that you were going to be so much more than just the firefighter staring at me from across the room in EMT class. I never realized that you would be the one to make my lonely days...just not so lonely anymore. My single Momma moments so much easier. The days whenever I feel so out of place because my "friends" have moved on, I now I have you. You have shown me what an amazing man is and I am sothankful for this.
Update:: I won a give away yesterday hosted by the lovely Kelly over at Two Kids in a Minivan and a Lot of Love which includes a set of blocks from the Letter Block Shop. I blogged about the give away last week, but if you didn't check out her blog then you must do so now. She has the most adorable little family and does some great reviews on products.
I hate packing. Seriously. I'm not good at it, I either pack way to much or not enough and it's not any easier packing for Charli Beth. To tell you the truth, I haven't even started packing yet because all of the laundry has to be done first! Oh well =) It will get done sometime.
Here goes my wish list for today..because we all know what I wish for today will probably change tomorrow!
Yes Ma'am! She would be perfect for today! I could lay around and do nothing all day long and she could work work work! BTW, I cannot believe all that I seen whenever I googled cleaning maid. Wow? Can we say perfect?! I would love to have a pair of these to take with me this weekend. A pair for the Charli girl would be lovely also!
This book was one of my sisters favorites whenever she was a child and she is estatic about seeing the movie that comes out on Friday the 16th (Although, Law Abiding Citizen comes out the same day so I'll hopefully be catching a glimpse of it. May I mention that Gerard Butler is pretty fine?). I would love to find Ashley's copy of this book for Charli, I think Charli will love it but maybe not for a few years.
This would be lovely to have so we could be riding in style instead of the Mom car:
Seeing this picture reminds me that I better go clean my car after I get done with the house work!
On Thursday my family and several other people from my small town always head down to Gatlinburg, TN for the weekend. This is my favorite time of the year, just for the honest fact that I love fall so much. Not to mention, I love the mountains any time of the year, it is simply the most peaceful place (that and the beach too). The ladies of the group always take one day to go shopping and we always find really great deals. I'm not so much excited for that this year as I am just having a few days away with the people that mean the most.
Mark, Charli Beth and I are leaving later than my family due to him working 24 hour shifts (boo to 24s.) so hopefully we will have an okay trip down and Charli will be able to take an afternoon nap. I need to make a list of what all to bring, even though it is only for a couple of days I always forget things.
I thought that I would share pictures from the past years so that whenever I get back I can compare them to now. I know she has grew a ton in the last year, but the pictures will be amazing to see =) I just can't get over the fact that this will be our 4th trip to the mountains together and our 4th Halloween...where has time gone??

That last picture cracks me up! Her eating a foot long corndog is seriously the best picture ever. I sadly have DOCJT in service in the morning a.k.a bordem but at least it will give me some extra hours for work. Then again, I may have to reschedule and do it later in the year if possible my babysitter just text me and said she will be out all week due to the flu. Oh my...Hope she gets better soon!
I know it's a little late on Friday night to be posting but I said that I would so I wanted to keep my word. I'm at work by myself (and it's Friday night) so this post will probably be cut very short thanks to a million 911 calls ;o)
I have become and Etsy lover, I mean I l-o-v-e that website. I've always wanted to be a crafty person, but hey that just isn't me! So I'll just waste many dollars buying things that I wish I could make myself!
The other day Charli and I received these in the mail:
How adorable huh? As you can see Charli's necklace is the perfect size for a toddler or child, mine is fairly large but we are both in love with them! I paid $35.00 for both of these, shipping and all. Not to shabby if I must say so myself!!
The store is called" CutiePatooties "(you can click the name to go straight over to her store) they have everything from personalized necklaces, to hand painted crosses, and plates. The plates are probably my favorites item that they have.picture courtesy of Cutiepatooties
Wouldn't that make a perfect grandparents gift?

A favorite school teacher?? How awesome is this with each little personalized face? Adorable!
picture courtesy of Cutiepatooties A wedding gift for $29.50!
picture courtesy of Cutiepatooties Okay...maybe this is my favorite? $18.50 , adorable, plus microwave and dishwasher safe! Oh yes, we have to one of these!!!
There are also tons of adorable necklaces with team, sororities, breast cancer awareness, and other personalized sayings! If you all purchase something please let me know what it is or take a picture! I may be posting this early in the week next week instead of on Friday but hopefully I'll be able to do it before coming into work so it's more organized?
Hope ya'll have a great weekend, 911 is due to ring any moment...
Here lately I've been getting stressed out about the "silly" things in life and worrying way to much. Although, I think they are great reasons to worry and fret over, most people think that they are not. But that is okay for today I'll be thankful and will not worry. I have so many more things to be thankful for rather than stressing over. I have a wonderful family most of all. In the hardest times of my life and in need, they are the ones that have always stepped in to help out. I have a job and most of all a paycheck every week. I have an amazing boyfriend that reminds me every chance he has, that better days are in the future whenever I seem to forget. This silly crazy daughter of mine that makes my day just by waking me in the morning by laying on my arm. I am amazingly blessed by the Lord and even if I may not share/act it every day like I should, I do know "all is well."
Yesterday, after posting about Charli and her air guitar my Mom and I got her in action on video =) It isn't the best of quality since it came from my digital camera, but you'll get the idea! I wish everyone could see her in "real life" action. It would kind of remind you of Randy Housers "boots on" video:
I love that little boy, isn't he just adorable?!
Okay, I think that Charli and that little boy should meet up for a rock band performace! haha! They would make the most adorable rockstars ever!
I also wanted to tell you ladies about another --giveaway-- that Two kids a mini van and a lot of love has going on. She also does reviews on products like that last blogger/Momma that I posted about. This time she reviewed the Letter Block Shop that sent her blocks for her adorable little girl! You can find the giveaway and pictures of Abby's blocks here! Aren't they just adorable? Don't forget to enter, there are several ways to win!
Tomorrow I'm going to do a post on Fabulous Finds (something I'll start doing every Friday) not a review blog or anything to the sort but I have fallen in love with Etsy and other sites so it would only be right for me to share them with you =)
Your never going to guess which artist is in my CD player! haha...Just kidding! It isn't any other than this fine man.
I do love that song, although I never listen to it because Charli's air guitar only "rocks out" with this song...
(yeah, I have posted this before since it is the album release party we attended but it's the only video with that song.)
People that get near my car on the roadway probably think know I am a huge redneck, since that song is always turned up wayyy to loud for a 3 year old. But the rockstar with her air guitar needs loud music.
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God. A wife to the 5oh, and Mother to Charli Beth and Bryar.
This is my story of Motherhood, life experiences and sometimes even my overwhelming heart all typed out.
I believe in second chances, yet the firm hand of parenting. That sweet tea is of the comfort food category. Chickens belong in every backyard. Children should each have a responsibility of their own while helping take care of duties in the home. Sports are a must for our family, and we spend many nights on courts or fields. We consistently feel new to each of the experiences that are brought into our lives. But we are always excited for the journey in which God has given us.
