Saturday was the local Christmas parade that my family and I alway head out to then come back to our home for chili, soup, and snacks. We always have the best time with out family, not to mention the good food. I finally made the red velvet cake balls (first time was Thanksgiving) and they have become a huge hit around here. They are way to sweet for this girl though! Charli loved the parade, most of all the marching band & the fire trucks. Her face just lit up everytime something she liked would come by. Although, if you are from a small town fire trucks, horses and the marching band is almost the entire parade. A little redneck, but we enjoy it!

Aww:) That looks like fun! The food looks yummy:)
sounds just like our parade!
a high school band, a fire truck...and maybe a few boy scouts or something :) haha
Looks like so much fun, I always love all of your pictures!
How fun, I love your small town. I sort of wish I lived somewhere like that. It seems so much more personal there. I'm glad you guys had a good time.
aww... I'm glad you all braved the cold to make some fun memories. I am dying to go to the Blackbird Boutique! Looks too cute. Speaking of cute, your family pics are beautiful and I love the pink Christmas tree. I think I'll add one for K next year!
food looks good. we didn't make it to the parade too cold and we have never been to the hometown Christmas thing. Glad Charli enjoyed it.
What a cute little tradition. AND such a nice way to warm up! Glad she enjoyed it!
I bet Charli loved the parade! Glad to see you had a great weekend! I bet those red velvet balls are yum, yum! Would love to try them one day! :)
